Chrisland University management visits Peter Akinola Foundation

The management team of Chrisland University, Abeokuta led by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Peace Babalola recently paid a courtesy visit to Peter Akinola Foundation, PAF.

The head of PAF and former Primate of Anglican Communion Most Reverend Peter who was also a guest of honor at the Chrisland University Christmas carol took the delegation on a tour of the Foundation. The Primate intimated them on the activities of PAF, he noted that the foundation takes youths off the streets and train them on skill acquisition and entrepreneurship.

According to him, the youths are taken through a 9-month programme starting from January and runs through to September where they are taught various skills ranging from fashion designing, carpentry, ICT, tiling, catering and moral training.

The students then take private professional exams like the NABTECH, TRADE TEST AND CURY AND GUKD LONDON which they go on to pass excellently well and get gainfully employed or establish as entrepreneur.

Prof. Babalola commended the efforts of the Foundation towards giving the youths greater possibility for a brighter future. She also discussed areas of possible collaboration with the Foundation.
