CEOAfrica MD arrives Kigali for ACALAN workshop

CEOAfrica Managing Director, Prince Cletus Illobanafor is in Kigali to attend the African Academy of Languages (ACALAN) Operational and Planning Workshop.

The Workshop which will be focusing on establishing the Arabic, Sango and Isizulu Language Commissions is scheduled to hold between December 21st to 23rd.

The workshop will also be looking to map out priority areas of the Vehicular Cross-border Language Commissions and to produce action plans based on the priority areas identified.

Furthermore, modalities on the operation of the Arabic, Sango and Isizulu Vehicular Cross-border Language Commission and the National Language Structures will be established in the course of the workshop. The workshop is also expected to clarify the role of other stakeholders, including Regional Economic Communities (RECs), Regional Institutions of Languages and Culture (RILC), Universities, Civil Society Organizations, ACALAN’s National Structures.

Also expected at the workshop include ACALAN Executive Secretary- Dr. Lang Fafa Dampha; Senior Programme & Project Officer- Dr. B.J Ojo; President, ACALAN Assembly of Academician - Prof. Sammy Beban Chumbow among others .
