President Goodluck Jonathan has unanimously been endorsed by the Lagos-based South East and South- South traditional leaders towards the 2015 presidential elections.

CEOAFRICA gathered this from the statement of Chief Sylvan Ebigwe, Chairman of the group to the newsmen at a briefing where he also asserts that the group would work assiduously to ensure the President maximized the millions of votes available in Lagos during the election.

Chief Ebigwe noted that the President deserve every support to enable him continue the good works he has been doing.

Meanwhile, the group also utilizes the platform to advise the governor of Rivers State, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, and the President to resolve whatever differences they had to allow peace to reign, urging Governor Amechi to heed to the advice South West governors had given him by paying a visit to the President for reconciliation.

The group further urged those heating up the crisis to desist from doing so, adding that it is the duty of every Nigeria to contribute his quota to make it a better, progressive and a happy nation.

Commending the President for his good works still, the group noted that the present administration is working to ensure development in infrastructural which were completely neglected in the past.

Ebigwei personally noted there had been positive growth in the economy considering that the stock market had shown some significant recovery.

The group also frowns at the recent deportation of fellow citizens by the officials of Lagos State government to Anambra State, stating that such actions is opposed to the relative cordial relationship existing among all Nigerian citizens resident in Lagos, and as well urged that Lagos State government should correct the mistake and recompense the aggrieved parties accordingly.
