Plans by the Nigerian Defence Academy to establish a driving school is at an advanced stage. NDA Commandant, Major General Adeniyi Oyebade made the disclosure during a courtesy visit by the Zonal Commanding Officer, Federal Road Safety Corps, Kaduna Zone, Assistant Corps Marshal Ayobami Omiyale in Afaka on Tuesday.
In a press release signed by the Academy’s Public Relations Officer, Maj. Abubakar Abdullahi and made available to CEOAfrica, General Oyebade noted that the driving school will take the cadets through the fundamentals, exposing them to both theoretical and practical knowledge of driving.

He commended the commitment of the FRSC in ensuring safety of lives and properties on our major highways while also reserving praise for the partnership between the two institutions.
In his reactions, the Zonal Commanding Officer stated that his visit to the NDA was to pay homage to the Commandant and also to appreciate the growing synergy between the FRSC and NDA.

He commended the Commandant for instilling discipline and learning in the cadets urging him to maintain the high standard the NDA is known for.
