The Lagos State House of Assembly is set to hold a press conference today to address reports on its attempt to impeach Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, who has been accused of extra-budgetary spending and disloyalty to the All Progressives Congress.

The Assembly had on Monday unanimously agreed to impeach the governor if he is found wanting.

Recall that several protesters had in the early hours took to the streets on Wednesday faulting the attempted impeachment.
