The First Lady, Mrs. Patience Dame Jonathan honors the invitation to the Pan-African Conference on the World of Women in the promotion of peace and development holding in Bujumbura, Burundi.

Dame Jonathan was glamorously welcomed at the Jankura Airport by her counterpart, Her Excellency Denise Nkurunziza, the Republic of Burundi First Lady, in the company of Odi Nwosu, the Nigeria Ambassador to Burundi.

Ambassador Odi  Nwosu expressing his gratitude at the visit, stated that the Nigeria first lady has demonstrated her commitment to peace and women affairs, adding that Nigeria has also shown their interest and position in making peace.
