"We guarantee students' safety" - Akam

Security is the bedrock of every conducive learning  environments, The founder of Tansian university Umunya Anambra state, Rev. Monsignor Prof. John Bosco Akam said, the school had put in place every  security measures humanly possible for the safety of their students, yesterday during an interview with CEOAFRICA's correspondent.

According to the founder, he said a concrete provision for securing life and properties of the students had been put in place, to make students concentrates on their studies and in this regard, also assure parents to be rest assured to send their wards to the university for a safe life and a secured future, which is the primary aim of establishing the institution to be the world-class private institution in Africa.

"A thorough study of most university in Nigeria shows us that most violence in the university system has cultism as their root, Tansian university has zero tolerance for cultism, the moment we discover such, we rusticate such student" the founder said.

Saying further, we engage our students in things that will add value to them, not just educationally, backing it up with a cliché that state " every empty space invites an occupant" we fix our students up in some sane societies and when cultists come to them, they would have been occupied already and there won't be any space because we have charted their horizon already.

"Once there is no violence within, there cannot be violence from outside" he promise.
