President of Senegal, Macky Sall, is set to visit Namibia as one of the special guests during the Heroes Day commemoration, CEOAFRICA.com gathered from Dakar.

Reports disclosed that the president would be officially received by his Namibia counterpart, Hifikepunya Pohamba as a guest.

According to sources, the Heroes Day holds on 26^th of August and it will be preceded by workshop on 25^th August 2013 where President Pohamba, former President Sam Nujoma, Andimba Toivo Ya Toivo, Mburumba Kerina and others will share their experiences during the country’s struggle for liberation.

Speaking about the event, one of the organizers said the public lecture is for everybody, especially the youths. Part of the event is the unveiling of the statue of Sam Nujoma, former president of the country.
