The funeral event which began yesterday witnessed the commissioning of twenty block of toilet facilities built by the deceased at Durban Oyo town, Oyo East Local Government. The entire community cried and wished it was the deceased who came to commission the project himself instead of his elder brother, Honourable Olajide, Olatoye popularly called big daddy. However, with open arms, the community received Honourable Olajide Olatoye as the community chairman read out a letter of appreciation.

In an interview with Honourable Adekunle Mutairu, the Director General for late Honourable Olatoye Temitope campaign organisation Oyo district.

He stated that the late Honourable has carried uncountable projects in Oyo such including the installation of transformers, supply of health equipment, digging of boreholes and provision of free health care services. I miss his immeasurably and I pray his soul rest in peace.”

His brother Honourable Olajide Olatoye, he said “this week of my brother’s funeral service, we will commission at least twelve projects and one of such is this. I love my brother the most; I will miss him in an unquantifiable manner and I pray that on the day of reckoning, he should sit at the right hand of the Lord.”

The second commissioning took place at Aroro Makinde, Akinyele Local Government Area Ibadan. It is one of the constituencies the late Honourable was overseeing before his demise. At Aroro Makinde, the project that was commissioned is a three block classroom building filled with chairs.

The entire community was pained as they expressed their despair. The community head said “I am very excited with the late Sugar’s good deeds. He brought development to Aroro Makinde, he has left a legacy that we all should follow. May his soul rest in perfect peace.”

Also the party’s chairman for Akinyele Local Government also expressed his mind in an interview

He said, “this is least of all the wonderful works the deceased did before he departed from this world; may his soul rest in perfect peace while his good works live on.”

Finally, during the candle night procession in Ibadan, the people came out in hundreds to show their love for the late Honourable Olatoye, Temitope Sugar. The event is arranged to run from Monday 29th of April 2019 to Friday 3rd of May with various activities lined up to celebrate his short but outstanding life spent on earth.
