President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday met behind closed doors with service chiefs.

The meeting started at the President’s office in the State House around 2pm.

Discussions at the meeting would dwell on the security situation in the country.

Recalled that Northern governors on Monday briefed the President on the increasing banditry attacks in the North Western states, kidnappings and killings in the North Central part of the country.

CEOAfrica gathered that Buhari on Monday, during an exclusive interview with NTA, blamed some segments of the security forces of failure to address the menace of insecurity in the country.

Although the main agenda of the meeting is yet to be ascertain as the meeting was still in progress at the time of filing this report.
