Muhammadu Buhari and Prof. Yemi Osinbajo have been inaugurated for another four-year term as Nigeria’s President and Vice President respectively for another spell of four years administration, after taking an oath at Eagle Square, Abuja, on 29th of May, 2019.

Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN, Tanko Mohammed, conducted the swearing-in.

The 76-year-old erstwhile military dictator read the oath of office from a card as he stood beside his wife, wearing a traditional white robe and sunglasses. He did not make a speech.

The Vice President thereby pledged to be faithful and to discharge his duties in line with the constitution of the Federal Republic.
