Buhari appoints new NAPTIN's head

President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Mr. Ahmed Bolaji Nagode as the director-general of National Power Training Institute of Nigeria (NAPTIN).

In a letter confirming the appointment from the federal ministry of power on Thursday, July 18, the appointment is for an initial term of four years.

The new NAPTIN boss, born on August 10, 1962 in Ilorin Emirate of Kwara state, Ahmed Nagode attended Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, University of Ilorin and the University of Lagos where he obtained Bachelor of Science (B.SC) Political Science, Master of Public Administration (MPA) and Diploma in Management.

A statement by the Permanent Secretary General Services Office (OSGF), Olusegun Adekunle, said the appointment was in line with the provision of Section 8, Sub-Section (4) of National Agency for the Control of Aids (Establishment) Act, 2007.
