IKEJA, Lagos - The 2019 Presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, AAC, and the CEO of Sahara Reporters, Mr. Omoyele Sowore, has been reportedly arrested by the operatives of the Department of State Services.
Sowore human rights activist was arrested Saturday morning at his home.
The founder of the Sahara reporter posted a distress tweet at exactly 1:25am which says “DSS invades Sowore’s”.
Although, it was not yet clear why he was arrested, but story has emerged that his arrest might be linked with his plans to mobilize people in Lagos and many parts of the country for a revolution protest tagged ‘Days of Rage’ to demand a better Nigeria.
The opposition AAC had declared 5th August for the commencement of revolution protest tagged ‘Days of Rage’ across the country to demand a better Nigeria.
It was gathered that Sowore, disclosed recently in Abuja at the end of the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting that the protest would be sustained until the country is put on the right path of honour where justice prevails.
