Chrisland University to complete ‘College of Law’ in less than one year- VC

The fastest growing University in Nigeria, Chrisland University, Abeokuta on Tuesday laid the foundation for her College of Law building in the institution.

Speaking at the site, prof Babalola said “It is believed that within a short period, the verifications by both the National Universities Commission (NUC) and Legal Council will be conducted, and the Law programme will start in earnest”.

“The project is billed to be completed in less than one year” she said.

After laying the foundation and prayers were said, the Vice Chancellor gave a brief overview of the plans to establish the College of Law over the past few years, highlighting the laudable roles of the governing council and Board of Trustees.

Present at the occasion were some principal officers including the Vice Chancellor, Professor Chinedum Peace Babalola; Registrar, Mr David Olowola; Director of Academic Planning, Dr. Ajibola Meraiyebu; Head of Works, Engr. Abayomi Ewetade, and others were University Chaplain, Rev. Juwon Onasanya (who led the event); Contractor M.A and Associates and team; Project Manager, Engr. Basil Okpalaji, other contractors and support staff.
