The Vice Chancellor of Chrisland University, Abeokuta, Professor Chinedum Peace Babalola (FAS) has recently toured the Pharmacy Department of the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Abeokuta, Ogun State, and strengthens partnership with the health institution.

The tour to the Federal Medical Centre, which was arranged by the Acting Director, Dr Odunfa was aimed to build capacity and enhance pharmaceutical care and services.

In her statement, Prof. Babalola said “Prior to and in between the tour, we visited the Head of Clinical Services, Dr Fidelis Ojeblenu and the Medical Director, Prof Musa Olomu”.

She expatiated the need for healthcare professionals to work in harmony for the benefit of the patient.

Also, she stated that her aim was to train pharmacists better in an integrated manner.

The VC made presentation of the existing and proposed organogram, innovations, challenges and possible areas of collaborations.

Professor Babalola however toured the different sections of the pharmacy to include, Drug Production Unit, Drug Stores, Drug Information Services, Cardio Pharmacy and others while she provided useful suggestions.
