The Vice Chancellor, Chrisland University, Abeokuta, Professor Chinedum Peace Babalola has bagged the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) Presidential Award at the 2019 Annual Conference.
The award presentation tagged ‘Crocodile City 2019’ during the closing banquet of the 92nd Annual Conference of the PSN was held on 8th November, 2019 in Kaduna State.
The award was received on the Vice Chancellor’s behalf by the Vice President of PSN, Pharm. Dr. (Mrs.) Ejiro Oyovwin Foyibo.
Presenting the award to Professor Babalola, Pharm. (Mazi) Sam Ohuabunwa, president of the PSN said that the award was given to professor Babalola in recognition of her impressive achievement as the Vice Chancellor of Chrisland University.
Speaking on the award, Professor Babalola said “This is the first time of instituting that award. I don’t know how I was picked. It is God”.
She thanked the PSN president Pharm. (Mazi) Sam Ohuabunwa and the leadership of PSN for acknowledging her achievement as Vice Chancellor and for recognizing her contributions towards sustainable healthcare delivery in Nigeria.
