Oyo CP, Olukolu parades 45 suspected armed robbery gang , kidnappers, rapist, others, recovered cash

 The Oyo State Police Command on Thursday, paraded forty five (45) suspected armed robbery gang , kidnappers, rapist, cattle rustlers, murderers/cultists, fake soldier, fake police man, impersonators, shop lifter, fraudsters, others terrorizing the residents of Ibadan and its environs in Oyo State.

The crime fighting Commissioner of Police, CP. Shina T. Olukolu while parading the suspects at the Police Command Headquarters, Eleyele, Ibadan stated that the suspects were arrested at different locations of the state.

The paraded suspects were found in possession of items such as knives, handsets, criminal charms, live cartridges, cutlasses, locally-made double barrel guns, phones, cars, cash, 26 live cows, full Nigeria army camouflage uniform, fake police corporal ID card, laptops, motorcycles, torch light, Union bank withdrawal cheque book, GTB ATM Card, Bible, and Spectranet Wifi hotspot.

 

While parading the suspects, Olukola said two cattle rustlers,  Muhammadu Usman ‘M’ 25 years and Alhaji Majo ‘M’  age 26 years, were arrested with 26 cows while some members of the syndicate managed to escape.

Mojeed Azeez ‘M’ 21 years, Kehinde Lawal ‘M’ 21 years, Sodiq Isiaka ‘M’ 27 years, Lekan Ogidan ‘M’ 24 years, Yekini Kazeem 22 years, Fadhunsi Olalekan ‘M’ 21 years, Osenilukman ‘M’ A.K.A Falcao 40 years, Adeyemo Aliu ‘M’ A.K.A Eru 30 years were members of Eiye and Aiye secret cult confraternities terrorizing Sango, Ijokodo, Challenge and Agbowo axis of Ibadan.

Sodiq Abiodun ‘M’ 29 years and Lekan Adesokan ‘M’ 31 years were kidnappers cum rapist with full Nigeria army camouflage uniform, abducted a 17 years old Ismail Alimot ‘F’, dispossessed her of belongings and took her to their hide out where she was raped serially until the next day.

The command equally arrested Adewale Kazeem ‘M’ A.K.A Osha 42 years, Oluwashina Fajobi ‘M’ 42 years, Daud Jamiu ‘M’  27 years, Kazeem Lekan ‘M’ 24 years, Fasola Biodun ‘M’ 23 years, Segun Olajide ‘M’ A.K.A Ojuyobo ‘M’ 42 years, Ojo Oladimeji ‘M’ 29 years, Akeem Sikiru ‘M’ 43 years, Oladoja Samuel ‘M’ 33 years, Uche Emmanuel ‘M’ 22 years, Gabriel Imole ‘M’ 29years, Sodiq Adeleke ‘M’ 26 years, Aro Joshua ‘M’ 20 years, Adeniyi Michael ‘M’ 24, Adeniyi Tunde ‘M’ 20 years, Akeem Olayiwola ‘M’ 32 years, Taye Hammed ‘M’ 30 years, Kazeem Onaolapo ‘M’ 26 years, Taye Sulaiman ‘M’ 25years, Jimoh Rasheed ‘M’ 27 years, Jude Collins ‘M’ 24 years, Usman Umaru ‘M’ 20 years, Abubakar Sidiku  ‘M’ 25 years, Aliyu Mohammed ‘M’ 18 years, Ibrahim Bello ‘M’ 18 years, Stanley Ezenna ‘M’ 32 years, Rotimi Afolabi ‘M’ 35 years, Ismaila Salami ‘M’ 26 years, Femi Ojelola ‘M’ 33 years for arm robbery.

Oloniyo Emmaunel Ayobami ‘M’ 41 years, Ayobami Willians ‘M’ 51 years, Oluwaseun Ogunjede ‘M’ 48years, were arrested for OBT/threat to life and impersonation.

One Abiodun Lawal ‘M’ 45 years, a serial shop lifter, of house 6 Wuse Abuja whose video trended on the social media dressed in a natire attire seen taking items and dropping them in a bag below the counter where the sales girl stood was also arrested while hibernating at a drinking joint at House 25, Oshuntokun Avenue Bodija, Ibadan.

Meanwhile, the command successfully rescued one Mrs Oyebamiji Abimnola ‘F’ aged 46 years who was abducted while on her poultry farm without payment of ransom.

The police however after their arrest recovered from them the sum of N300,000.00 .

CP olukolu stated that the police under his watch are resolutely determined to constantly comb the state of any form of criminal activities.

He noted that the security architecture of the state was being constantly re-jigged with operational strategies being reviewed and efforts to combat crimes at all times put in place.

He however urged the people of the state to go about their lawful businesses without any fear of molestation and reports any suspicious movement around their environment to the police.

The crime fighter therefore warmed people with criminal behaivour to desist from it or leave the state as the law will not spare anybody rather it will catch up with them.
