Where is Buhari?
The announcement of the president’s live broadcast finally came on Sunday after Nigerians took to social media during the week to demand the presence of their leader.
“Where is Buhari?” was the question on everyone’s lips on Thursday and the same continued on Friday and Saturday.
The question arises in the wake of the speculations that the Nigerian president has been secretly flown to London for treatment amidst the coronavirus pandemic.
Nigerians, however, demanded their elected president to dispel the rumour by addressing them physically and not through written statements by aides.
The presidency released picture and video of Muhammadu Buhari working but Nigerians insisted on the live broadcast.
Finally, it was announced and scheduled for 7 pm on Sunday.
