Just In: NCDC driver tests positive for COVID-19

 Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has announced an additional case of COVID-19 in the state.

The government disclosed this while briefing journalists on COVID-19 updates in the state on Tuesday.

He explained that the new case is a driver of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, who transported samples of persons believed to have been infected with COVID-19 in the state.

 “The affected driver who lives in Ado village of Karu Local Government Area of the state has been relocated to COVID-19 Isolation Centre at the Federal Medical Centre, Keffi for treatment,” the governor added.

The state government has so far confirmed no fewer than 12 cases of COVID-19 with one death.
