Obasanjo
Former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose has reprimanded Nigeria’s former president, Olusegun Obasanjo over his unruly statement made about the late ex-senator Buruji Kashamu.
Fayose via his verified twitter handle lambasted Obasanjo who sent a condolence letter to the Ogun state Governor, Dapo Abiodun stating that Buriju escaped justice over alleged criminal offences within and outside Nigeria through hiding under the umbrella of law and politics.
Report has it that Kashamu, a governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2019 election in Ogun state and a representative of the Ogun state East Senatorial District between 2015 and 2019 at the National assembly, died of COVID-19 complications yesterday at the age of 62.
