Breaking: UI College of medicine provost test negative

The provost and deputy provost of the University of Ibadan, College of Medicine, Professors Emiola Olapade-Olaopa and Obafunke O Denloye respectively who tested positive to the deadly virus, coronavirus, have now tested negative.

This was made know in a letter which he signed and made available to the press.

The letter reads:

Dear All,                   

I am pleased to inform you that our 1st repeat COVID 19 Test was negative. We shall however remain in self-isolation until the second repeat test to be done in 48-72hours is also reported as negative.

We are very grateful for all the love shown to us during this time, and thank you for the encouraging messages of support and prayers.

We especially thank all who have been involved in our care, especially those healthcare professionals who went beyond the call of duty in this regard.

May we all, our people and our country, continue to be recipients of God’s infinite mercies.
