I refuse to rest because I want to surpass my role models - Nigerian artiste, Kev2tite

Fast-rising Nigerian hip hop artistes, Kelvin Ossai Iwezife, known as Kev2tite, said his decision to deprive himself of rest during coronavirus pandemic was to actualise his dream of surpassing his role models’ achievements in the global music industry.

Kev2tite who mentioned names of his role models in the music industry such as Rick Ross, 2Baba, Burna Boy expressed belief that their global achievements is a reflection of talent and years in the industry but  assured his fans that soon, he would surpass all their achievements.

The Delta-born artiste and graduate of UNIJOS while in an interview with newsmen disclosed that music especially the rap-style had been part of him since childhood and noted that this had aided his ability to adapt and sing to the admiration of his fans wherever he goes in the country.

 The artiste said his motivation for music started while he was in primary and secondary schools and today music has become his hobby as he enjoys doing it with friends and relatives who advised him to take it seriously.
