Mechanism has been put in place by the Federal government of Nigeria to check contractors and supervise the Millennium Development Goals, MDGs, to forestall the possibility of poor execution or abandonment of projects in the nation.

CEOAFRICA news correspondent gathered this from the statements of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Millennium Development Goals, Dr. precious Gbeneol, at the weekend while he was commissioning two primary health care centres, PHCs, and a water scheme.

In her speech, she acclaimed that the era of poor implementation and abandonment of projects are over, stating that the mechanism put in place by President Goodluck administration will effectively place both contractors and officials monitoring MDG projects in proper check.
