“Give back to your Alma Mater,” Oyo Deputy Speaker urges old students

The Deputy Speaker of Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Abiodun Mohammed Fadeyi has expressed the need for old students in the state to complement the efforts of the state government on repositioning the education sector by giving back to their Alma Mater.

Hon. Fadeyi made this call while commissioning two blocks of Six classrooms and Teachers Quarters at All Saints Primary School, Araromi Aperin, Ona Ara Local Government of the state.

The classrooms and teachers’ quarters were constructed and donated to the School by Mr. Olusola Alagbe Luther-king, one of the old students of the School.

The Speaker noted that Oyo State government alone could not shoulder the responsibility of providing quality education and improving infrastructure in public schools.

He, however said there is the need for the support of well-meaning individuals especially the old students to visit their alma mater, adding that they should contribute their quota towards their development.
