The All Progressives’ Congress, APC, lost one of its party member to the PDP over the weekend, as the factional Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, Chief Festus Ebea at a rally in Ubiaja, the headquarters of Esan South-east Local Government Area of the state announced his exit from the party.

This is happening barely 24 hours to the resumption of plenary by the factionalized state assembly,

The factional Speaker, while speaking at the event, said his decision to join the PDP was because the APC as a party has lost direction flowing from the ideals of the defunct ACN on which platform he contested and won the state Assembly seat in 2011.
