Abuja - Nigerian forward, Razak Adegbite, has completed a move to South Africa’s National First Division (NFD) side Jomo Cosmos.

Adegbite spent the first half of the season in Nigeria with Enugu Rangers before heading to South Africa during the mid-season break.

“I’m happy to continue my football with Jomo Cosmos and can’t wait for my debut. It’s a privilege to play under the legendary Jomo Sono,” he said to supersport.com.

Adegbite, who has been assigned the number nine jersey, becomes the third Rangers player after Ejike Uzoenyi and Ugonna Ugochukwu to join South African clubs this year.

Interestingly, Chippa United’s James Okwuosa was also scouted from the famous Enugu side.

Adegbite is expected to play a big role as Ezenkosi seek a return to the Premier Soccer League (PSL).

Cosmos have already played two matches against Black Leopards and Highlands Park without Adegbite, who is expecting his work permit to enable him kick start his South African adventure.
