An opinion poll conducted by the Civil Liberties Organization, CLO, has rated Governor Sullivan Chime of Enugu State high in terms of infrastructural development, security and capacity building.

According to the result of the poll made available to DailyPost, signed by the coordinator of the CLO in the South-East zone, Mr. Olu Omotayo, almost 84% of the people interviewed admitted that Chime’s administration “has done very well delivering the dividends of democracy to the people of Enugu State in the past 7 years it has been in office”.

The report said, “their reasons are- there have been unprecedented infrastructural developments in the state; there have been peace and security in the state, no violence or unnecessary harassment of citizens like the time of the previous administration. Furthermore it was argued that the governor has done a lot to surpass the achievement of any previous governor of the state.
