The former vice-President of Nigeria and co-founder of Integrated Logistics Services Nigeria Limited (Intels), Atiku Abubakar has said that Buhari’s administration is bent on destroying legitimate businesses for political reason.

A statement made by Atiku’s media adviser, Paul Ibe, on Monday, revealed that the former vice President has been selling his shares in Intels over the years as a result of Buhari destroying the country’s economy.

His statement read that: “It assumed greater urgency in the last five years, because this Government has been preoccupied with destroying a legitimate business that was employing thousands of Nigerians because of politics.

“There should be a marked difference between Politics and Business,

“The former Vice President sold his shares in Intels and redirected his investment to other sectors of the economy for returns and creation of jobs.”

He stated that, Mr Abubakar has been having running battle with the Nigerian government over some remittances Intels ought to make into the government’s coffers.
