The ACCORD party has said that the Oyo state government led by Governor Abiola Ajimobi should not blamed Accord party for it inadequacies the spokes person to Senator Rasheed Ladoja, Lanre Latinwo in reaction to alleged pulling down of barrier erected on Moklola Flyover bridge by the ruling APC stated that with the presence of security agencies in the state,it is unthinkable that some group of people tinkering with barrier right in the middle of the town in full glare of security operatives.

According to the statement, what the incident has exhibited is fragility of the bridge built at an inflated cost as earlier pointed out by the party. The party advised government to interrogate the driver to ascertain the breaking of the barrier rather than the hastily blaming the opposition for its shortcoming. The party added that the bridge is a white elephant project since such accident have never occurred at that location before the erection of the contraption called Flyover Bridge.
