Many youths have taken to social media, threatening to stage a massive protest on February 13 over the decision of the Lagos State Judicial Panel to allow Lekki Concession Company to reopen the Lekki tollgate.

The youths who are so determined are calling for justice for those killed during the #ENDSARS protest last year.

Two different hashtags (#OccupyLekkiTollGate, #DefendLagos) are currently trending. While #OccupyLekkiTollGate is calling for youths to come out in their numbers for the protest against reopening of toll gate, #DefendLagos is also calling on youths to come out and defend the state against hoodlums.

One the supporters of #DefendLagos wrote: “Show your love for our Lagos. Get your friends and your neighbors to be there. Join The  Defend Lagos Rally at the Lekki Toll Plaza on the 13th of February. We will not cede our city to criminals and insurrectionists. Lagos is our Pride.#defendlagos while a supporter of  #OccupyLekkiTollGate wrote “I'm not surprised to see #DefendLagos and you also shouldn't, this is how Tinubu / BMC e-diots operate. They usually wait till midnight to have their meetings and dish out a counter movement early in the morning.
