BREAKING: JDPC organises interactive session between farmers, representatives of Oyo State Government on farmers-herders conflict

The Justice, Development and Peace Commission (JDPC) of the Catholic Archdiocese of Ibadan is currently having an interactive session between the farmers of Ibarapa Local Government and representatives of Oyo State Government at J. Traver’s Place, St. Patrick Catholic Church Compound, Bashorun, Ibadan.

The discussion organised by JDPC is themed: “Farmers-Herders Conflict: Identifying Pathways to Peace,” and moderated by Mr Michael Olatunbosun

 Present at the occasion are: the Director of JDPC, Rev. Fr. Ezekiel Ade Owoeye; Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly and Lawmaker representing Ibarapa East, Rt. Hon. Debo Ogundoyin; Lawmaker representing Ibarapa North Central, Hon. Peter Gbadegeshi Ojedokun; Oyo State Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development and Hon. Muyiwa Ojekunle; Executive Assistant on Agric-business, Dr. Debo Akande.

Also, representatives of farmers from Ibarapa/East, Ibarapa/central, Ibarapa/North, and Secretary of Farmers’ Association in Ibarapa North Local Government Area are in attendance.
