Our world could not have been a better place without the roles and the tremendous efforts of women in general.
Women are blessings to the universe. Their immense roles at home, in the society and in every man-made-institution cannot be overemphasized.
Women do not only exist. The essence of their existence is brazen and undeniably commendable. This has called for the United Nations to dedicate every 8th of March, to celebrate our Women, all over the world.
The celebration of International Women’s Day (IWD) which started early 1900s, is to celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.
As the world marks the 2021 international Day with the theme: “Women in leadership: Achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world”, it is a call to action for accelerating women’s leadership.
Also, International Women’s Day came up with the #ChoooseToChallenge, to celebrate our heroines.
CEOAFRICA appreciates the United Nations for setting aside this day to celebrate our women all over the world, and uses this opportunity to congratulate our true women, who have contributed immeasurably to the development of Africa, and our women who are at the frontline in fighting the deadly corona virus.
CEOAFRICA salutes the Women who are dauntless in breaking norms; Women, who are courageously taking the lead and making historic breakthroughs.
Keep being amazing friends, companions, wives, mothers, and role models!
