Discalced Carmelite House of Studies, Ibadan, is set to hold a public lecture in honour of ST Joseph, the foster father of Jesus Christ.
The lecture will be holding on Wednesday, 10th of March, 2021 by 4.00pm at Chapel of Divine Union, St. John of the Cross Carmelite, Ologuneru, Ibadan.
The public lecture is themed: “Devotion to St. Joseph the Church as Envisioned by ST. Teresa of Avila.”
The lecture will have Rev. Fr. Cyril Udom, OCD, as the guest speaker while Fr. Prof. Jude Mbukama, OP, from Dominican University, Ibadan will be the moderator.
The lecture will provide a first-hand knowledge on the great inspiration of Teresa of Avila, who’s often described as one who gave the age long devotion in the Church, especially in the Carmelite tradition a new impetus.
The general public are therefore urged to take advantage of this opportunity as it is a time to tap into the rich grace of God.
