The Vice Chancellor of Chrisland University, Prof. Chinedum Peace Babalola, has informed the new intakes for the 2020/2021 academic session that the learning institution has zero tolerance for cultism, hooliganism, disrespect and corruption.
Prof. Babalola said this in her welcome address at the first phase of the institution’s 6th matriculation ceremony, which marks the official entry of 300 new students.
Babalola advised the new students to show respect to their colleagues and staff in the University to make their stay fruitful and productive.
“Be modest and decent in your dressing and approach to issues. I must also add that university is all about learning but also about character, she added.”
The Vice Chancellor in her remarks noted that the 2020/2021 academic session of the institution is tagged “Purpose Driven Session.”
She disclosed that the session has provided the opportunity for personal and institutional growth and development.
She added that session is “a season of new invention, new strategies and new technologies.”
“This is a season of blended learning (virtual and physical). I am proud to inform you that at Chrisland University, we hold the view that positive opportunity lies in every crisis or challenge hence our drive for new strategies in dealing with our current challenges,” she stated.
The erudite Professor, therefore, enjoined that the matriculants to be law abiding and industrious in their studies.
