The Ultimate Mathematics Ambassador (TUMA) 2021 competition was won by Henry Oghenetejiri Esemitodje from the Mind Builders School.
The competition is between primary five and six pupils in private and public schools within Lagos State and Ogun State.
It is an annual competition organized by the Ambassadors School, Ota, to groom pupils in national and international competitions and examinations like Cowbellpedia, InterswitchSPAK, International Mathematics Olympiads, Cambridge IGSE, A-Levels, and others.
The Education Director of the Mind Builders School, Mrs. Bolajoko Falore, disclosed to CEOAFRICA that the victory of the school in the TUMA 2021 competition was a success well prepared for.
She revealed that Mind Builders School had been going for the competition and desiring to come first for the past four years.
Besides, Henry Oghenetejiri Esemitodje, a primary 6 pupil who won this year TUMA competition represented the school last year but came third winner.
Mrs Falore stated that “Henry Oghenetejiri came third while he was in Primary five in the 2020 competition that was within Lagos State and Ogun State where we had about 1,365 schools competing.”
With her encouragement and the supports of the boy’s parents, Henry, went for the 2021 TUMA competition when he is in Primary 6 and became the first winner.
