ABUJA-Wednesday, 21 April 2021: The Senate has approved the sum $1.5billion and €995million external loans for the Federal Government.

The Upper Chamber approved the external loan during the Plenary on Wednesday.

The decision followed the consideration on the report of the Senate Committee on Local and Foreign Debts on the external borrowing plan of the Federal Government.

The Chairman of the Committee, Senator Clifford Ordia, presented the report of his panel.
