Insecurity: Nigerian engineer builds advanced drone to help tackle criminals in forest

A Nigerian robotics engineer, Olusola Ayoola, has built a carbon emission tracker drone that can fish out criminals in any forest following the incessant kidnappings in the nation.

The University of Ibadan graduate who founded Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Nigeria (RAIN) said that there is a future for the country in robotics and artificial intelligence.

Olusola, an MSc and PhD holder from Manchester, intends to set up a training centre in Ibadan where the youths will be equipped with knowledge in this fast growing field.

The development has also attracted some commendations from social media users.
