MR. FRANK MBA, FORCE PUBLIC RELATION OFFICER (NIGERIA)
The Inspector General of Police, Alhaji M.D. Abubakar, has confirmed and ordered the immediate adoption of Mr. Frank Mba as the substantive Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO).
Mr. Mba was the Deputy FPRO in Abuja until his new appointment.
He started his journey into the Nigeria Police on May 18, 1992 as cadet inspector, obtained his training at the Police Academy, Kano, between May 1992 and December 1993, passing out as the “best graduation cadet inspector in academic” for his course and also winning a special IGP award.
Mr. Mba was deployed in Lagos State police command in January 1994 and was promoted to the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police in 1999; Deputy Superintendent of Police in 2003; Superintendent of Police in 2006 and Chief Superintendent of Police in 2012.
He further studied Law at the University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos, between 1995 and 2000, graduating with an LLB degree second class upper division and afterwards enrolled at the Nigeria Law School, where he obtained his BL degree, again graduating with a second class upper division and winning Justice Kayode Esho’s award for the “best graduating student in professional ethics.”
He however was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2002.
