Monday 23 August 2021: -A 200-level student in the Department of Peace and Conflict Resolution, Taraba State University, Jalingo, has died in the hostel.

The student identified as Patience Thomas, was said to have died at Zenith Hostel in the early hours of Sunday, August 22, after complaining of catarrh and headache.

"She was having catarrh yesterday. Then woke up around 2am in the night and was complaining of headache. Her roommates started praying for her but then she gave up the ghost." One Goodness Emmanuel said.

Meanwhile, the Dean of Students Affairs of the institution, Prof. Dr. Rebecca Irany, has paid a condolence to the female hostel.
