The Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde is to grace the convocation ceremony of the Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology (FCAH&PT) as the Special Guest of Honour  on the 12th of October 2021.
This was gathered by CEOAFRICA  in an interview with the Provost of the institution, Dr. A.O. Owosibo.
Owosibo further stated that His Excellence, Governor Makinde will lead other dignitaries to the convocation ceremony of 2012/2013 graduating class- till date. The event will hold at the Dr. K.J. Nwufoh Hall, FCAH&PT by 10am.
Other dignitaries expected at the occasion are  Hon. Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Dr. Muhammad Mahmood Abubakar; The Minister of State, Alh. Mustapha Bada Shehuri; The Executive Secretary, ARCN, Prof. Garba Hamidu Sharubufu; and The Olubadan of Ibadan, HRM. Oba Saliu Adetunji Aje Ogungunniso 1, who is the Royal Father of the day.
CEOAFRICA investigation revealed that this convocation will be Dr. Owosibo's first as Provost of the institution as well as Chief Host of the event.
The Provost used the medium to inform all invitees and attendees to ensure they came with their face masks as part of the laid down COVID-19 prevention protocols. 
FCAH&PT which is located at Moor Plantation, Ibadan, the Oyo State capital was founded in April 1964 with a mission to contribute to the development of Nigeria through training of qualitative manpower by adequate exposure to efficient theoretical background, practical, farm and field demonstration as well as knowledge capacity development for staff.
