Delta State Police arrests suspected kidnapper,rescue victim

Officers of the Delta State Police Command has arrested a suspected kidnapper  Emuesiri Umukoro 'm' aged 27yrs after a raid in a hideout in Oghara.
  
A release signed by the Commands Public Relations Officer 
DSP. Bright Edafe, said that  it  received information from
a distressed caller (name withheld),alerting the Police of the kidnap of  one Miss Mohammed Sekinat 'f' aged 27yrs, who was travelling to Lagos in the company of her boyfriend in a Futon Truck with reg No.FST 345 YD on the 4th October 2021.
He was however, blocked along Koko road junction  Oghara  by a
three (3) man armed robbery/kidnapping gang.  
He  managed to escape from the vehicle  while the hoodlums  forcefully took Sekinat
away into the bush. 
Operatives of Oghara Division were immediately dispatched  to the area and
investigation located their hideout along Pan Ocean road by Koko
junction. 
The  gang members on sighting the Police teams took to their heels  abandoning the kidnapped victim but one of them was arrested and he was  identified by the victim as a member of the gang who kidnapped her.
The command maintained that a Manhunt is currently going on for the fleeing
members of the gang.
