Saturday 23 rd Oct.2021:Matthew Hutchins, the husband of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, spoke to “Insider” by phone, saying "I don't think there are words to communicate the situation” after the death of his wife.

She was shot Thursday when actor Alec Baldwin discharged a prop gun on the set of the movie “Rust,” according to law enforcement.

"I am not going to be able to comment about the facts or the process of what we're going through right now, but I appreciate that everyone has been very sympathetic,” he told “Insider.”
"I think that we will need a little bit of time before we can really encapsulate her life in a way that is easy to communicate," Matthew Hutchins added.

 
In a statement, Baldwin said he is cooperating with the police investigation and was in touch with Matthew Hutchins. "There are no words to convey my shock and sadness regarding the tragic accident," Baldwin tweeted.
