TUESDAY- 26th October, 2021: Former Kaduna lawmaker, Shehu Sani, has slammed Buhari’s Government leaders following the recent massacre of worshippers in a mosque in Niger State.
Recall that unknown gunmen on Monday morning stormed a mosque at Maza-Kuka in Mashegu local government council of Niger State and killed about 18 worshippers despite the suspension of telecom services in the state to fight insecurity.
The armed men who invaded the village in large numbers attacked the villagers, who were performing their early morning prayers.
According to report, they came on motorcycles, went straight into the Mosque and shot sporadically, resulting in the death of residents.
Reacting to the killing, Sani on his Twitter page, opined that those in leadership positions in Nigeria have run out of ideas to solve the lingering insecurity in some parts of the nation.
He also stated that the suspension of telecom services has not stopped the killings of Nigerians.
The former lawmaker wrote: “The suspension of telecom services has not prevented the massacre of 18 worshippers in a mosque in Niger state by terrorists.
“Same with the 40 killed in Sokoto last week. Those who should provide leadership have run out of ideas.”
