WEDNESDAY- 10th November, 2021: The Super Eagles of Nigeria kicked off its first training session on Tuesday in Tangier, Morocco with a total of 21 players as they prepare for their 2022 World Cup qualifier against Liberia.
The match will hold on Saturday at Liberia’s adopted home for their World Cup qualifiers, the 45,000-seater Grand Stade de Tanger in Morocco.
The Communications Department of the Nigeria Football Federation discloses that of all the invited players, only Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, Odion Ighalo – who returns to the team after a two-year absence – and Enyimba goalkeeper John Noble – who was drafted in to replace injured Francis Uzoho  were yet to arrive in camp.
The Eagles who are two points ahead of Cape Verde, will hope to secure maximum points against the Lone Star on Saturday to ease pressure when they face the Cape Verdeans three days later in Lagos.
