MONDAY- 15^th November, 2021: Nigerian born international musical artiste, Wizkid,  has continued his haul of awards as he won the award for the Best African Act in this year’s edition of the MTV Europe Music Awards.
The Multiple award-winning superstar, beat the likes of Tems, Diamond Platnumz, Amaarae, and Focalistic in the tightly-contested category to get the award.
Organisers of the @mtvbaseafrica, wrote on their Instagram handle to congratulate the ‘Essence’ singer on his win, “HUGE congratulations to BIG WIZ @wizkidayo for winning Best African Act! From Lagos to the world #MTVEMA #StarBoyHQ.”
The singer also took to his verified Instagram account’s story to repost a video snippet of this announcement as the winner of the category.
