Chrisland University gets ICAN accreditation

Chrisland University, Abeokuta, a fast growing university in Africa has again recorded another milestone in its academic programmes.

The university renowned for intellectual radiance has successfully gotten the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) Council approval for the Accreditation of B.Sc Accounting degree programme.

Recall that Chrisland University, due to her academic excellent, was ranked 17th of the one hundred and thirteen (113) universities involved across the country.

Founded in 2015 with just seven (7) students, the university continues to maintain its geometric and meritorious rise among the echelon of laudable Nigerian Universities.

Recently, the institution celebrated its 3rd Convocation ceremony in Abeokuta, an occasion which saw the institution graduate 5 first class students of the total 44 graduating student.

Over 20 courses are being offered in Chrisland University and the students are also trained to be entrepreneurs.

The university under the leadership of Prof Chinedum Babalola as the Vice Chancellor gave all the credit to God and extended her profound gratitude to the Chancellor, High Chief (Dr) Mrs. Winnifred Awosika, the Pro Chancellor and Chairman of Council, the Board of Trustee, the faculty and the University Community for their cooperation and support to the university management in sustaining a conducive environment for learning. She urged them to channel all efforts toward putting the university on a global map through innovation and intellectual excellence.

Professor Babalola reinstated management commitment and determination to leave no stone unturned towards creating a learning environment that nurtures a sound moral and intellectual culture that attracts an excellent blend of faculty from across the world, and deploys resource to educate the total person.
