Governor of Adamawa state, Mr. Bala James Ngillari has visited the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s state Secretariat  to affirm his commitments to the party and relationship with the state executives .

Amidst party’s stakeholders and supporters, the governor expressed gratitude to members of the State House of Assembly for performing their legislative duties by removing his former boss from office.

According to him, there is  nothing extraordinarily wrong  in the removal  of former Governor Murtala Nyako from office  because the lawmakers were simply doing their legislative function.

“ Let me take this opportunity to thank most especially the Adamawa House of Assembly to perform their legislative duties that led to the removal of my former boss and by the divine arrangement of God, Iam the new governor of Adamawa state.

“ I want to tell the world that there is no discord among us, if anybody is talking about discord that person is not a Christian or Muslim , what that comes my way is not a surprise God meant it to be like that, all that happened to me is now history” the governor said.

“I pray that those I offended should forgive me and I also forgive those who offended me therefore we must now work together as a family, l can’t claim to be an lsland and I need your advises to forge the state ahead” he said

Speaking during the visit,the state PDP chairman, Chief Joel Madaki said that when God says yes no one can say no adding the emergence of governor Ngillari was an act of God.

He stated that PDP must abide by every bit of the constitution of Nigeria as it has now confirmed  Ngillari as the authentic governor of Adamawa state.

Madaki who warmly welcomed the governor at the party’s secretariat said  “  This is your house, PDP is one party but uses different baton to execute their duties. The leadership of the PDP, is fully on ground for you talk to us”

Madaki added that  the PDP leadership is one, is only that the personality that pilots the affairs of the party is subject to change, “ we are happy is PDP goes and PDP come, so I want to tell you that PDP is intact” he said

Senator Bello Tukur representing Adamawa Central Senatorial District  , who attended the meeting, lauded the qualities of governor Ngillari as a brilliant person who slow to speak but when he happened to speak, he speaks volumes of wisdom that might be a guide to all.

Responding on behalf the state assembly members, Honourable Salisu Kabilo, representing Verre  state Constituency, promised that the lawmakers will be loyal to  the new governor and also called on the people of the state to support the new administration.
