Governor Godswill Akpabio has confirmed that the Akwa Ibom Government, has entered into a 10-year agreement with Julius Berger, for the maintenance of the new Akwa Ibom International Stadium.

The majestic stadium is expected to be commissioned by President Goodluck Jonathan on November 6, but on Thursday new President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Mr. Amaju Melvin Pinnick and his delegation inspected the new stadium, which was constructed and completed by Akpabio’s administration.

“I must commend Julius Berger and congratulate the leadership of the new NFF President,” Akpabio said.
