NIGERIA DEPORTS 22,000 ILLEGAL MIGRANTS

The Nigeria Government has in the war against the Islamist sect, Boko Haram, deported about 22,000 illegal immigrants.

CEOAFRICA news desk gathered this from the declaration of the Interior Minister, Abba Moro who accused criminal among these illegal aliens of abetting Islamic extremists who aim at disrupting the peaceful co-existing in the country.

Speaking to the reporters in Abuja, the Interior Minister revealed that the 22,000 illegal immigrant were all sent to the neighbouring Chad, Niger and Cameroon, adding that the deportation were affected in May aftermath of the declaration of a state of emergency by President GoodLuck Jonathan in Adamawa, Borno and Yobe.

“Moreover, the security and immigration officials have identified 84 illegal borders crossing where they intend to back up with patrols and electronic surveillance.
