The Provost of Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology (FCAHPT), Ibadan, Dr. Adekoya Owosibo, in the spirit of the season has felicitated Christians at home and in Diaspora on Easter celebration.

In his Easter message made available to CEOAFRICA, he thanked God for life and the opportunity to witness another year of Easter celebration.

“This year’s Easter celebration is different because it seems that God took special care to plan it for the two prominent religions in Nigeria which is Christianity and Islam; to witness their annual fasting and prayer almost at the same time.”, he averred.

He recalled that Ramadan Kareem fasting and prayer started on 2nd April while Christians’ Lent was still on during this period.

The Provost maintained that considering the uniqueness of this year’s Easter Celebration, Nigerians should be sensitive and alert to maximize the lessons of the resurrection.
